"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. "Everything from the cleanliness of the home to the hospitality and responsiveness of the host was exceptional. My family was there to attend a wedding at a local resort. Besides the wedding, we just enjoyed family time and relaxing on the porch. Had we been there longer, we would have spent time at the inviting fire pit. One of the boys spent time fishing at the nearby river. He says the biggest trout he's ever seen got away. A reason to return at a later date?!?! Anyway, the owners...
