"Loved our stay, great location. Our room was compact, but well appointed and clean. Only minor gripe being a very small shower. Absolute highlight was our host Roxana. Lovely from start to finish, friendly, helpful and an amazing chef because breakfast was awesome. Will definitely return when we go back to the Dales. "

"I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). I rang the owner again and...

"I cannot fault my stay. Everything I needed, and more, was in the room. Bed and coverings were extremely comfortable so I had a great couple of night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. I had a full breakfast both days and felt the food was of a great quality, with plenty of choices. My host was very friendly, welcoming and provided a service that means on my next trip to Kendal I will 100% be returning to Glenholme!"

"I loved this property. Angela, the owner, was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I loved that it was a farm and enjoyed the drive back and forward each day. One day we were stopped as a dog got all the sheep into one little area. It is not far away from where we wanted to be and we went to Beatrix Potter Hilltop house and the attraction. As well as House on the bridge and the famous gingerbread place at Gracemere. "

"We booked last minute and so pleased we found the derby inn. Very helpful and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We would love to come back in the winter when they have there log fires on in the quaint rooms. Thank you for a lovely couple of days away. "
