"The property was very much as described. The lounge, with it's oak panelling and bay window was a delight to spend time in, the addition of the bookcase door was a real novelty. The kitchen was very well appointed, the bed was soft, with a heavy (possibly down) duvet. Not exactly my preference, but still comfortable and definitely warm. "What an amazing find! we were walking the dales way and had walked from Appetreewick that day, we arrived later than expected. "We stayed in Stables 2 and it was a beautiful and cosy apartment. A friendly cat greeted us and made sure we we were all settled in :) and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine, cookies, a nespresso machine with four pods and firewood for the fire. The kitchen is kitted out perfectly and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice, with a shower and spme toiletries and all very clean. "It is a lovely cottage but be mindful the garden on the photos is not actually accessible from the property as its actually a first floor apartment and there are steep steps up to the front door. There were a few snags which I emailed the host about, mainly odd repairs and renewals needed.
