"A lovely classic hotel with grounds. Nice breakfast if a little restricted, and lovely bar food, plus a useful and easy car charger. Pool a little on the cool side and limited changing sreas. I couldnt get the showers to get warm. Bedroom very comfy, though i couldnt understand the reasoning behind check-out by 10am but breakfast till 1030. I did try and arrange a slightly later check out to match the breakfast timings, but was told i would be charged extra, which on top of the room price seemed...

"Very nice hotel with pub facilities...live music on Friday night was a treat... Only downfall was our room which was very nice but above it must have been staff quarters which were very noisy....mainly floorboards that squeaked really loud Great location for visiting attractions in the area"

"We arrived late. But staff was accomodating and attended. She guided to free street patking which was not far. As nearby street needed permit and were full. Shower was working , had hot water but pressure was very low . Not sure if it was deliberate or just being at 3rd floor. Breakfast was average. But staff presented servef fresh tea and coffee witj milk which was great. "
