"We took the kids up to Sugar Mountain for a few days to ski/snowboard right before Christmas and the house was a perfect place for us to stay. So close to the mountain and so convenient. We had a great time. Just wished the kitchen would have been stocked with a few more cooking items (no sheet pans or cookie sheets) but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! "

"The house was unbelievable and exceeded my expectations. Compared to most mountain rentals this home had at least 40 inch screens for TVs in each of the bedrooms and I believe a 55 or 60 inch TV in the main room. The owners provided a wonderful coffee bar the home was well equipped with supplies And beautifully renovated. Having stayed in many many rentals in the beach mountain area. "Had a lovely Christmas at the property. Beds we comfy and the huge sofa in the living room accommodated the whole family. Kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook a Christmas dinner. Very close to Sugar Mountain ski resort (a few mins drive). The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of a day’s skiing. We will be back. "

"This quaint, small cabin was exactly what my husband & I hoped for on our year-end vacation. It was quiet & perfect for thr two of us! The bed is FIRM so be prepared for that. Its great for those with back issues. Situated just 25min frim downtown Boone & 45min from Bammer Elk, we found it situated just far enough from where we wanted to venture out to dine. "Beautiful property and area! Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of land for the dogs to run. Kids enjoyed the creek and exploring around the property. They have a tankless water heater, which means never running out of hot water from showers. Satellite TV is nice, and the internet works good. Gas fireplace is a push button and is probably the easiest fireplace I’ve ever used. Cabin has just about everything you need. Our ONLY negative is that the couch is a couch bed and not very comfortable, but...
