"It was peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Didn’t really spend much time there, was gone during days and got back each night around 8. When we where there, it was as it was described. The hosts were very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions."

"We came for a quick birthday weekend for my daughter. The house was beautiful and cozy and the area was spectacular! We could see where Helene had impacted the area which was sad, but it was still beautiful."

"Happy it was only for 1 night. While the property is beautiful it has some serious AC/Heat issues. The upstairs was miserable and the downstairs cold regardless of how we adjusted the thermostat. The dead mouse at the front door was interesting and not sure how whomever cleaned prior to us didn’t see it. The light outside is on a sensor and went off all night. There are blackout curtains in the room which help. Overall nice for one night but not sure we would have been ok more than that."

"What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. Keep in mind that the property is pretty remote so make sure you bring everything you need for the stay or be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery. "This quaint, small cabin was exactly what my husband & I hoped for on our year-end vacation. It was quiet & perfect for thr two of us! The bed is FIRM so be prepared for that. Its great for those with back issues. Situated just 25min frim downtown Boone & 45min from Bammer Elk, we found it situated just far enough from where we wanted to venture out to dine. The rest of the time, we RESTED! Thank you for such a relaxing stay,we appreciate it!."

"Beautiful property and area! Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of land for the dogs to run. Kids enjoyed the creek and exploring around the property. They have a tankless water heater, which means never running out of hot water from showers. Satellite TV is nice, and the internet works good. Gas fireplace is a push button and is probably the easiest fireplace I’ve ever used. Cabin has just about everything you need.
