"Happy it was only for 1 night. While the property is beautiful it has some serious AC/Heat issues. The upstairs was miserable and the downstairs cold regardless of how we adjusted the thermostat. The dead mouse at the front door was interesting and not sure how whomever cleaned prior to us didn’t see it. The light outside is on a sensor and went off all night. There are blackout curtains in the room which help. Overall nice for one night but not sure we would have been ok more than that."

"It was peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Didn’t really spend much time there, was gone during days and got back each night around 8. When we where there, it was as it was described. The hosts were very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions."

"We came for a quick birthday weekend for my daughter. The house was beautiful and cozy and the area was spectacular! We could see where Helene had impacted the area which was sad, but it was still beautiful."

"What a beautiful property in the perfect setting. Very clean and well appointed throughout. Everything you could need is provided to include a very nice hot-tub, satellite internet, fireplace, and a grill. There are a few neighbors in the area that are not too close to be an issue. Keep in mind that the property is pretty remote so make sure you bring everything you need for the stay or be prepared to drive 30 minutes to the nearest grocery. "We stayed over a long weekend at the cabin and had a great time. Plenty of area to explore and the creek behind the house was gorgeous. The hot tub was awesome. Inside the cabin was great, beautifully decorated, nice appliances and cabinets etc. The gas fireplace along with the AC unit kept the whole house warm when it was 14 degrees outside. Only downside was the couch, definitely worn out and needs replacing. Also if traveling from Boone to the cabin and there is heavy snow, 4WD or AWD is...
