"Good location but very limited evening bus service from the airport. The 308 arrives at the airport from Great Dunmow at about 21.20 and returns immediately to Takeley, before going out of service. My driver was prepared to take me to Takeley Street / Stansted Airport Lodge as it was on her way back to the depot. This bus isn't shown on any of the airport timetables."

"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. "Great little pub/inn off the A12, room was lovely, bathroom needs a bit of an update but functional and clean. Homemade biscuits 😋 a delight. I had a superior room and loved having a espresso machine for my morning brew. Food in general was fab from my burger 6oz (think chef forgot the scales, it was massive) to my mexican chicken & Avocado on 2nd night, portions great size, service i couldn't fault, all team, smiley, happy peeps."

"The picture of the rooms are fake, rooms were dirty, smelly and not fit for humans. I would not recommend anyone to use UK.hotels.com as you can't contact any once you have paid the money. I have sent my reviews of UK.hotels.com to outlets to advise not to use your service. I shall be doing more once I get back from my holiday."

"Excellent staff! It was so easy to check-in and we had no problems. You can purchase breakfast at a low price and it was great value. The location cannot be beat as it's very close to the rail station. There are so many restaurants, pubs and stores within easy walking distance."
