"The apartment that I stayed is not sea-viewing. The apartment has clear sign of require maintenance. What frustrated me most is that Regency Apartments charged my card eventhough I have already fully paid to Hotels.com. The rational from Regency Apartments is that they could not charge against Hotels.com. But this is not my issue. "The apartment was exactly what we wanted! It was comfortable and clean! The host was wonderful and had no issue with answering any questions we had! The apartment is so close to the high street - a perfect spot for nights out or just a quick visit to the center. The only thing we found that there was not any oven trays for cooking but there was an oven. Not a dealbreaker at all and we just used foil that was provided. Just a point for the future! Gotta download a janky app to unlock the doors and then you have to specifically ask for the wifi details before they’re provided. "This was our first visit to Southend and it was for my wife's birthday. It was a beautiful apartment, sparkly clean and tastefully decorated. The view from the apartment was spectacular. We were very happy there. I had trouble shutting the door when we left as there is no handle so I used a corkscrew from the apartment to shut the door which I left on the the shelf outside."
