"Quirky property that had all you need for your stay. Right on top of the waterfront bars and restaurants, lovely walks and plenty of sailing going on. Weather was unbelievable, lucky us! West Mersea is a great place to visit, very friendly and welcoming people."

"Not a terrible place just stuck literally in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure it would suite some, just not us. Met with noise from neighbours thumping against walls and a cat that kept whining to come in. Left 20 minutes after arrival. Informed owners but they didn't seem too concerned we weren't staying and didnt ask why we weren't staying. An OK place, just not for us."

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."
