"The place is in good location. The room wasn't super clean, staff is nice but not very attentive, could benefit from more training. Overall the place seems run down and not taken care off. Big cockroach also visited my bedroom. The balcony doors are very hard to open and close. Overall I think place needs to be managed better. "

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. Be aware of beach salesmen. Would recommend this hotel."

"Great spot for our arrival in Sri Lanka. We stayed one night. Comfortable bed, large room and easy walk to the Main Street to get dinner. The owner drove us to Habarana the next day for a fair price and even gave us several recommendations for our next few days and bought us local fruits. "

The rooms are very nice with a lovely big and modern bathroom, and the place itself is very close to the beach, and only w 20 minute drive from the airport which is perfect! "The hotel was overbooked when we arrived. (Seems like the manager didn't check bookings from hotels.com). The hotel ended up giving us a room at a much cheaper hotel, without giving us any kind of compensation. Further, the hotel offered us a transfer to the airport more expensive than a taxi and tuc tuc."
