"I arrived at the hotel at around 5 am and the owner kindly let me check in at that time (I had paid for the previous night) so didn't have to hang out at the airport forever after an extremely long trip to Sri Lanka which I had read was an issue at other hotels. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very basic but clean. There was tea and coffee in the room but no heating kettle, so you couldn't actually make coffee even though instant coffee was sitting there was there which was a bummer. ...

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. "this family lead hotel with 3 rooms is one of the best small hotels that i’ve seen. The rooms are clean and everything works just fine. The owner does the most to make you have an plesant stay. While only new on expedia this hotel is well reviewed on tripadvisor and other booking sites. This hotel is not located in the center of negombo but the hospitality en quality of the hotel makes up for that. Verry good cost to quality ratio."

"The host speaks perfect English and couldn't have been more helpful, giving us tips about the surrounding area, and fetching our bags from a neighbouring hotel. Breakfast was huge and delicious. The only thing that lets this place down slightly is the mattress on the bed wants to roll you off onto the floor, but if you stay in the centre it's mostly ok."
