"Not my first stay here, and not my last. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the seafront about a 7-8 minute walk from the pier. I usually get a room with a balcony overlooking the sea as that’s almost the whole point I staying there. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor has a wide choice of menu items all of which were well prepared. The breakfast was outstanding. The View is at the higher end of the price range but you do get what you pay for and is far more modern than most of its competitors. An excellent stay as always. "

"Second trip to the Grand. Last time was for New Year’s Eve. Room was newly refurbished. This is somewhere you can relax and feel taken care of with good old-fashioned British charm."

"Really close to the sea and also the University graduation venue - we were there to see my daughters friend graduate so location was fabulous and good value for money. Hotel ticked all the boxes. Visit The Flourpot on the seafront for breakfast and/or other snacks as our mushroom breakfast brioche roll was amazing. Everyone I encountered was really friendly. Great bars and places to eat all around. Great seafront/pier and shopping in The Lanes is a must as amazing jewellery shops and art galleries display some fabulous wares. Brighton is wonderful!"

"Great to be effectively in the terminal to just walk to security in the morning. Everything was spotless, and with friendly staff. My only gripe was that there wasn’t a split rubbish/ recycling bin in the room. "
