The store lady Eyleen Loria Sanchez...she was very sweet and friendly, and last but not least Daniela made the stay better with her friendliness. Food was amazing easy 30/10! All in all best expectation and experience I've had!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cerró Lodge. The staff were amazing and made sure that we enjoyed our time. They booked us on a bird and crocodile tour on the Rio Tárcoles that I would certainly recommend. The pizza we had for dinner was delicious. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I look forward to visiting again!"

"The place is absolutely divine, love the location, serenity and local floral and fauna, but the unit had some really issues. Before I get into those, I asked for early check in weeks in advance because our flight was arriving at 8:30 in the morning. Caught a bus here and when we arrived, they said no early check in, no place to hang out for a few hours, and to come back at 4:00. No matter what we tried, they said absolutely not, come back at 4:00, so we went to a nearby town, brought all of our luggage to the restaurant and hung out there until 3:30, then had to call an Uber, which cost us additional money after already paying for a chartered bus. The unit was beautiful, but had some real issues. First off, the front door lock was being held together by black tape and wasn’t secure, we caught 9 large wasps in one of the bedrooms, the blender didn’t work, which sucked, especially since I had already loaded it with fruit. The TV remote didn’t work and when we requested a new one, there was no response. The manager was somewhat responsive but took a long time to respond on WhatsApp until the last day. I would definitely stay here again, but would highly recommend that these matters be resolved."

"Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. Also the host went above and beyond to assist. I would definitely go back."

"This was, far and away, the most exceptional place that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The pictures do not do it justice (although they look pretty good!) and was the site of the most relaxing 10 days any of us had had in a long time. First, the house: spectacular beyond words. The beds are fantastic (even better than my own at home, which is saying something), the linens are crisp, the towels are at every hand, there are more bathrooms than bedrooms. The kitchen is phenomenal, with an ice-maker and enough plastic and glass glasses to never wash a dish (although you can in the dishwasher, also a plus!) There's an office, a gym, laundry, everything your heart desires. Plus, when you walk outside, you are surrounded in the most beautiful scenery, with lush greenery, a few toucans flying above you, as you enjoy your time in the pool or hot tub. And, if you're not a swimmer, you can spend your time in the pool cabana & bar area, watching football (if you're my husband), reading on the swing (if you're me), or playing on the trampoline or outdoor play structures (if you're the kids!) I cried when I left. You'd cry for not booking this place. 15/10 stars. (Oh, and also, Ani is a dream)"

"Beautiful house, nice management, but the house is low maintenance. One of the bedrooms had ants which were not only on the floor, wall, but even in beds! For the 4 nights of our stay the management couldn’t make something treatable to kill insects. My kids should sleep 4 nights with ants, and one night my son was bitten until we figured what’s going on. Pool is big, but water is not filtered. No family games, no pool towels, no washer/dryer in the house. A lot of mosquitoes, we couldn’t use backyard after sunset."
