Nativa is a gated community with 24 hour security. It's quiet and has beautiful views of the ocean, mountains, and Tarcoles river. People gather for sunset at the pool...it's all about the sunsets, and they are amazing. The balcony has a great view in case you don't want to gather. Go for a walk around Nativa for your morning exercise and see Macaws, Toucans, Parrots, and other wildlife, including the beautiful views.
To enter the condo, there are only 10 steps down a short stairway. It is almost 1800 sf with 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a murphy bed if needed. The kitchen has an electric cook top with a small Warne oven and everything you need as far as utensils, plates, etc. There is a LP gas grill on the balcony with fans and lights. TV is local cable and there is good internet for (included) Netflix, Amazon Prime, and any other online needs. Washer and dryer, towels, linens, central air conditioning for the living space and split units for the bedrooms.
Costa Rica may remind you of the States in the 1950's. The small towns all have local gathering areas, a soccer field, a church, etc. There are small grocery stores in each town that sell what you need, but to go to American style stores, you will need to go towards Jaco to the Maxi Pali (Wal-Mart owned) or Auto Mercado.
There are numerous restaurants on the main road between Nativa and Jaco. A lot of seafood and local dishes.
Jaco is a cool beach town about a 20 minute drive away that has restaurants, bars, casinos, a great beach for swimming, surfing, or just hanging out, and plenty of activities like zip lines, off road tours, off shore fishing, and many others.
In Tarcoles, you can go on a Crocodile and bird watching tour at the river. There is a co-op for fresh seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables are available at local shops, and a small local bar and restaurant.
Fee is $150 per night.
