"It is a beautiful 17th century building, quirky and old. Maybe because it is out of high season, they had a very limited selection of food and drink and it just felt like we were too much trouble? The fan in the bathroom was really noisy which is a problem for late night needs and the mattress was super soft and lumpy!"

"Friendly staff, charming old interior of restaurant/bar and cafe. On the upper floor where the rooms were, the carpet was filthy with large stains from an old skylight leak. The bed was so old you could feel the springs in your back, pillows old and lumpy, quills of feathers in down comforter pricked your skin constantly, bathroom sink light was out, tiles behind toilet had fallen out. It was impossible to get any sleep. "

"A night in a tent in a garden for £140 is a bit expensive specially for the quality of it. Floor uneven and cracked, and smelt a bit dump. Bathroom (in main house) is a bad design and water goes everywhere. We wanted to ask the owner questions, while they were in their private room, and as soon as we tried to get their attention, they went quiet and ignored us. They must have been able to hear me. I found it rude."
