Recently renovated I'd guess, couldn't fault it. I would certainly go back again. One slight complaint, but seems to be common in the UK, not enough staff on duty, specially at breakfast time. One poor girl trying to manage the breakfast room and checkout area.

Good hotel but small areas for improvement
The hotel was lovely, good customer service and the room was a great size and well decorated. The bed was super comfortable but we had problems with a poor shower that didn't work properly for the 2 days we were there. The location is good and a 5 minute walk into the village centee Food in the restaurant was good, but breakfast took too long even though there went many tables.

Excellent stay! Our room was upgraded which was an added bonus! Lovely cooked breakfast! Which my partner and I feel the hotel are undercharging for! Short walk into centre. Would definitely stay here again.

I found this hôtel outstanding in every respect. My only regret is that I was there for only one night and was going out for dinner - because they clearly have a good restaurant and a good bar, and breakfast was very good. Next time - and there will be a next time - I shall dine there too.
