"The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!"

"Well since you’re asking! Everything was good, apart from just three things. The freezer didn’t work, the door didn’t close properly. The oven and stove top were questionable; the cool down cycle on the oven was long and loud. The master bed mattress was a bit skinny and quite uncomfortable. Everything else was great. "

"I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. They had also left us a welcome pack which included a bottle of Prosecco, that was a lovely extra. We made full use of the log burner as it wasn’t the best of weather when we were there. "The lodge was fabulous. It was spacious, yet cosy. And very well equipped, from everything in the kitchen & utility, to all of the entertainment. We loved the sauna & games room, & the dogs loved the huge garden. They also loved their walks down to Loch Awe. On rainy mornings just chilling in the lodge was lovely. Also, the beds were very comfortable & we all slept well. We visited Inveraray Castle & Jail Museum, Mull, Oban & Loch Lomund. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful holiday. "

"Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car.
