"Perfect property for 9 adults and 1 dog! Very clean and well stocked kitchen which was large, with an even larger lounge with log burner. More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. "Nice big house for a family get together. Big kitchen and dining space and hottub is an added bonus. Lots of nice decor and room dressings. Little tired in places i.e. black mould on bathroom roof."

"Our stay at the Wallace Lodge was seemless from booking to checking out. Wallace communicated with us immediately after booking and advised us of all pertinent information needed for the stay. We took a drive from London to the Wallace Lodge and he waited till our arrival at 2130 to personally greet us and show us around. Everything is as described within the listing. "Could not have been better located for us, all the walking and climbing our hearts desired, plus easy access to good pub and grocery. We had one small issue with the dishwasher but it was fixed almost immediately after notifying the property management. Really appreciated their responsiveness."
