"Very welcoming staff so that was a great first impression. Very well presented accommodation. Great shower. Plenty of beverages and having a sofa too in the evening was a bonus. Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. "What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant.
