"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again."

"My husband and I were looking for a vacation away from everything and when we saw this property, we thought it fit the bill. It was a very scenic ride on the way there and once we reached Vermont we just took it all in, all the beautiful sights of nature at its best. Once we arrived at the house, it was just as described. "The loft space was so perfect. There was a separate building from the main house and it was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you could need. The owners were very nice and checked in on us after arrival. It was close to town, about a five minute drive and was situated on a beautiful property. It was pet friendly and we brought out dog, the owners left out treats for her. I would recommend this to anyone who visits the area. "
