"This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. "

"Charming historic inn with incredibly good breakfast and dinner menu. Bakery also out of this world. Kids loved the library:game room and 24hr hot cocoa bar. Family owned- mother tubs inn and her children run the restaurant. Such a warm, lovely family. If you have trouble with stairs, may not be the best for you, but otherwise would stay again."

"Our time at Mad River Inn was incredible from start to finish. Brandon and Susannah were extremely helpful and gracious hosts . They greeted us at the door and attended to every need we had from snacks, to restaurant and shopping recommendations, to a brief history of the property. "The owners were so kind. My boyfriend and I woke up a little late for breakfast the second day of our ski trip, and one of the hosts still made us a beautiful spread. Truly it was some of the best French toast I’ve had in years! The Christmas decorations were charming and sweet, not to mention the property itself is beautiful. "I had a great stay at the Buckmaster Inn for ski weekend at Okemo. The house is beautiful with many classic colonial touches throughout. Best of all, Richard and Elizabeth are gracious hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. It snowed the last night of my stay and Richard got up extra early to clear the driveway and my car! I will be back whenever I can visit. "
