"Reviews and descriptions are spot on! A very cozy house with a babbling brooke running throught the back yard. An absolute perfect location to walk to restaurants, bars and the grocery store. A small ski Town vibe throughout. Jay peak was a short 15 min drive away."

"The Red Barn is perfect for our group, this is our 2nd time there. Plenty of room in both the house and property, where we can sit out by fire or use the hot tub, and not worry about the closeness of any neighbors if were up a little late. Having the spacious barn for activities if foul weather is also a definite plus "

We looked forward to coming back to this place at the end of each day, made family meals in a kitchen that has everything you could need. Played a lot of board games and had CONVERSATIONS with each other. What a concept! Happy New Year!"

And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
