"Property exactly as described. Older house, but very clean - even the downstairs furnace room/laundry room. I was impressed by that! The layout was fun- very spacious, can sleep lots of people. It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. Quick & easy to get to downtown Stowe."

"We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!"

Located on a ridge off of the backroad from Lake Willoughby to Barton, the cabin has all of the amenities you need for a summer or winter vacation in NEK (Vermont's Northeast Kingdom). "This is a a comfortable, spacious cabin with everything new inside, and very clean. Comfortable beds; the kitchen has everything, even a dishwasher, and there is a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a metal spiral staircase to the upper loft that was fun for the kids (the listing pictures show a steep ladder, which was apparently replaced). The bathroom and the bedroom have fashionable sliding barn doors (though we may have preferred real doors for privacy). The cabin is located near a local...
