"All the staff were very pleasant. When we arrived we had a few issues with the room but it was repaired quickly. The breakfast was very good. The location was excellent, walking distance to alot of shops and restaurants. The view from the lobby level was great and the pool was fun, a little warm but clean and convenient. We had a lovely time. Thank-you to the team at the hotel. PS. A little heads up when the beaches are closed because of the wind or the weather would be a nice touch. We wasted time taking a taxi out to the South end of the island only to find out the beach was closed."

"We’ve stayed at a few all inclusive resorts at various beach destinations and they are not my favorite. We don’t like to indulge heavily in alcohol and so many all inclusives attract those who want to take advantage to the max throughout their holiday that it often ruins our enjoyment. The two travel styles are just very different ways of vacationing. So at El Cozumeleño there were the indulgers but the rooms somehow really blocked the noise coming from the bar and it shut down early enough. The last two days of our trip there were guest who brought a speaker and basically dominated the sitting/snacking area by the beach. Annoying The staff were all very good at their jobs and friendly. We would like to name those following who took very good care of us: Eyahir Amanda Angelica Enrique Pedro Germaine Adrian And many more. Sorry I couldn’t remember all your names. We did have an unpleasant miscommunication with a surly frown faced Omar when we were checking in that unfortunately deflated our excitement when we arrived. However, it was soon resolved - though I never really understood what happened. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The beach is fantastic and we loved snorkeling every day just from the hotel. The food was good though repetitive but that was easily remedied by a few meals out. Buccanos is in walking distance and is a beautiful spot to eat and have a change of scenery. Thanks to all the friendly faces who welcomed us. You are very much appreciated. "

"Friendly staff food was good and entertainment was fun! Beach is rocky and hard to walk into the water. Need a taxi to do anything off resort, but dwntwn is only 15 min. Would recommend "

"The accommodations were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious with good variety. The children's activities were well done. My grandkids thoroughly enjoyed it. We would gladly recommend Melia Cozumel All Inclusive!"

"The only thing we did not like about the Westin is the food. Very underwhelmed. The menu was not good at all. In fact, we decided to go out to eat, even though we already had all inclusive. Restaurants across the street were 100 times better"
