"A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend."

"Stayed here for one night only on a motorbike trip.Good parking for the bike. Hot water, dry and comfortable place for a night. I didn't go to the bar as I arrived late but it looked very pleasant. Overall feels a bit dated but staff friendly and all in all ideal for me. "

"Nice hotel in a great location for hikers. Grear view of the hills from the bedroom. Very good value for money. Downsides were the wifi kept cutting out and theres very little/no mobile phone signal and the floors were quite creeky so noise was an issue when people were moving around. Would definitley stay there again though "
