"The "hotel" is really an apartment with kitchen facilities, its centrally located within walking distance of Independence square, Colombo museum etc. The apartment is perfectly adequate, located above a Subway restaurant, but lacks the hotel features that some may be seeking. A 200 rupee tuk tuk should get you to the fort area for restaurants and bars."

"Great hostel , spotless , good breakfast and a really friendly team of girls and boys , only thing I would alter is some slightly more comfortable seating in the chill out area, love the stacks of pallets , but something with a squishy back rest would be just perfect for the older bums ! :)"

"Quite a large room. Very clean and comfortable bed. Free breakfast buffet had many choices. Very large swimming pool, steam room and sauna made it a perfect stay. "

"It was very acceptable for the price. The attendants in the restaurant were awesome. I went Scuba Diving earlier than regular breakfast hours and they were great to assist me with an earlier than normal breakfast. Overall the service was very good. And everyone tried. I didn’t like being asked to contribute $2 a day for environmental purposes as soon as I arrived. I was asked for my passport and then asked to donate money. Started me off on a sour note. "
