Galle Face Hotel retains its old charm in the face of soulless yet newer 5/7star hotels in the vicinity. Please retain that old charm GFH, that’s what sets you out as unique. All staff such great ambassadors, courteous and helpful.

Convenient for Fort Railway Station less than 10 minutes by taxi. Dining options in the hotel weren’t great for us for lunch and dinner with limited vegetarian options but breakfast was outstanding. A good location within walking distance of town along parkland and sea front. Good breakfast buffet, great pool, outside bar and restaurant. The Regency sea view room was a little tired and hot water in shower not good. Old room key system, so had to leave and pick up from reception.
