"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"The staff were friendly. However, the building is under construction making it noisy and dirty. There was a layer of dust in most areas. Parking was very limited with some of the parking spaces being used to store construction materials. Very limited dinning within the immediate area. Would not stay here again."

"Hotel sits right on the beach and every room seems to have a beautiful view! Beach is gorgeous and clean! Heated pool. Parking at hotel. Right across the street are a few restaurants and gift shops. Easy 25 min drive to downtown Charleston. Employees were some of the nicest we ever met!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay there again! "

"We would’ve liked to know about the massive and noisy construction going on directly next to us. The piles of dirt completely obstructed our view of the ocean. We had trouble with our toilet….twice. Both times maintenance responded quickly."
