"Beautifully decorated hotel in a perfect area in downtown Charleston. Excellent restaurants just steps from the front door and all the shopping on King Street a block away. We had an excellent stay and would stay here again. No complaints. "

"Property is in nice shape, good location for what we were doing. Amber was very nice at check in and answered all our questions. "

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"We stayed for 2n. The hotel is under renovation( not aware fr booking). No lobby they have mini reception tucked in the corner. I booked a standard 2 queen bed room. The room has tv, microwave, refrigerator & mini kuerig(that we don't use it, not sure if it's been cleaned). The bed was firm & comfy beddings were cleaned. Bathroom not enough space to put your toiletries not even a towel rack. The shower has no pressure because it doesn't close from faucet to shower. No hot breakfast but "only...

"Charming OLD home and carriage house. Bathroom could have used a refresher. The shower head and toilet mechanicals were not working properly. We were in the carriage house. It was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast very good. Plenty of coffee, water and tea and snacks and fruit any time. The location was great!!! Across from the college and central to walk to popular sites, restaurants and shopping. Seemed to be a safe area. "

"Room was fairly clean, some things need to be updated on the floor in the bathroom and the carpet. Love the microwave and fridge in the room. Beds aren't the worst I have slept on. Would stay again."
