"Easy walk to the French quater. Small room with uncomfortable sitting area. "

"It was good in every way. I would suggest they invest in new mattresses and pillows. The thermostat did not work in our room. I wish they had a hot tub beside the pool. We were there in the winter and although the outside pool was open it was too cold to swim. The fried chicken was Great !! Good restaurant.***** We have been there 2 other times and will gladly go back again."

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"The staff were friendly. However, the building is under construction making it noisy and dirty. There was a layer of dust in most areas. Parking was very limited with some of the parking spaces being used to store construction materials. Very limited dinning within the immediate area. Would not stay here again."

"Great place to stay. Convenient and walkable to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was incredible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate size and very clean. Property is comprised of a historical building dating back to around 1778. Property is well maintained and blends in nicely to the historical charm of Charleston. Will return again on our next visit to Charleston "

"This property has it all! Shops, restaurants, bars, and music. You'll enjoy your stay here and time on the beach. The service and staff are excellent! No laundry facility onsite, but there's a laundromat that is up the street."
