"We stayed 2 nights at the Grosvenor for the first and last night of our 14-day cycling holiday. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Moreover they went out of their way to help us. First by allowing us to store our bike boxes, second by providing us with a bucket to clean our muddy bikes when we returned and third and most importantly helping us to catch our plane on time. We had booked a van through Timaru Taxis. However when we rang the company past our scheduled pickup time they advised us that they do not operate vans on the weekend. With less than an hour to spare prior to bag drop off Carol, one of the staff members, asked her husband to transport us and our boxes to the airport. Without their kindness we would have been stranded in Timaru for another day. Super grateful for everything "
