"Opulent and beautiful but yes dated. Doorman was slightly rude upon my arrival as if I didn't belong at the Ritz or something. But the service was outstanding and everyone was kind. There was an old smell in the hallways and stains on the rug. We would stay at a newer establishment next time."

"Nice double room for 2 for 1 night. Clean, small, ok size, bathroom a bit awkward with a step up into the space of an airplane washroom, no extractor fan so steamy when showering but functional. Breakfast included and free drink in a bar across the street but everything we asked for wasn't included in the offer so left. "

"Lovely stay at the cavendish, great location 5mins walk from Piccadilly station. We had afternoon tea at the ritz and the hotel is only 5mins walk. The staff were all extremely attentive, friendly and always looking to help. We had a light meal in the bar and again very friendly gentleman there. Food was very nice too. Great stay in central London. "
