"With five days before our stay in Milan, our previous hotel canceled on us so we were asked to accept Hotel Lugano. We are two adults and a 14 month old baby, we traveled with a pram. The entrance to the hotel is not wheel accessible. We had a friendly receptionist on arrival and pleasant check in. The elevator was old, and small but it fit the pram and a suitcase. On entrance to the room, we were hit with the smell of bleach. So we spent the first minutes opening all the windows and blasting...

"Everything was great, especially the communication. This place is quite a ways from attractions and learning to call a taxi was challenging and the cost is $10-20 each time. Do not rent a car, way too difficult to park and drive. We did Duomo inside and took tour, Gallaria, Castle, drove a Ferrari from Ricardo, and San Moritio church...all amazing!"

"I enjoyed 2 nights here. It was clean and easy to handle breakfast and check-in. Overall appearance .....needs some paint outside/inside and around windows. Back garden could have been darling if tools and ladders were put away in the shed with the doors closed. Overall it could be charming."
