"My husband and I had a 13 hour layover in Hong Kong from LA to Thailand. We wanted to explore the city a little bit and did not want to sleep at the airport so we found a last minute room. "Box room, only one of us could stand up at a time. The shower was over the toilet so the floor was always wet and the room smelt damp and horrible. Didn’t stay in the hotel that we booked, seems like they own all the hotels in that building so just put us in any. "Size of the room was small but that's normal in Hong Kong, the bathroom was smelly but once we talked to the receptionist they fixed it, we noticed a couple of small cockroaches throughout our over 2 weeks stay so it wasn't that bad. Room service is daily and efficient, and the staff are really nice and helpful, the building might seem intimidating and not the cleanest but the room was good and safe and we don't have anything to complain about, good value for money."

But be warned the rooms a are very compact so I would advise if a single traveller book a twin room with private shower & toilet.
