"Cute boutique hotel right in Cathedral Junction. It is right next to the trolley line but it’s not loud. They do have access to a pool and sauna in the hotel across the street but the front desk won’t necessarily remember to tell you about it or how to get there unless you ask. I would stay here again."

TV with 50 channels, including several SKY sports. Small kitchenette with sink, kettle, fridge microwave (glass dish to heat food), toaster and electric frying pan - ideal for simple meals. Walking distance to Christchurch centre and the botanic gardens. On-site parking. Laundry available -$2.50 per wash or dryer - washing line...

"Brilliant old building with huge rooms and hallways with many of the original features in place...staff so friendly and helpful in fact so very kind too. Perfect location close to the tram stop, shops and the river Avon. OGB bar on site, perfect for summer evening drinks. Valet carparking available at reasonable price. Would definitely recommend the Heritage."
