"We loved our stay at the Santa Croce Hotel! It was an easy walk from the train station, but felt removed from all the hustle and bustle. Every single member of the staff that we encountered from the front desk to the bartender and staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and had great amenities and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Venice, we will absolutely stay here again."

"Area, close to main attractions, and bus and train stations. Tea and coffee supplies not replenished, and no milk provided, breakfast wasn’t brilliant, was mediocre. Rooms nice and modern and clean. Would stay here again, overall very happy with our stay. "

" The hotel is newly renovated, and its location is within walking distance of the center of Venice. The staff is helpful and friendly. We traveled at the end of October, and since the air conditioning system was already turned off for the season, our room was very warm. However, the staff kindly upgraded us to a different room to address this issue."

"It was a last minute choice that turned out to be a wonderful decision. This is now our favorite hotel in Venice. The alley leading to it might seem sketchy at first but trust me, this hotel is worth it. Lovely HUGE lobby. Beautiful inner courtyard. A true hidden gem. "

"A little hard to find but when found what a delight. Very friendly staff so very helpful, especially when the family had a flight change and had to fine two extra rooms. The breakfast has to be seen to appreciated, what a wonderful selection. Thank you all at Ca’ Riza. "

"A beautiful hotel with helpful and friendly staff. I was given a room upgrade which was very appreciated. The breakfast is great. You can walk to the hotel from the station. There is one bridge to cross that has a ramp on it for easy crossing with luggage. I didn’t use the water buses as I preferred to walk, but there is a stop right out the front of the hotel."

"We had a very short stay while in Venice but this place was perfect for that! It’s a 7 minute walk from the train station and about a 12 minute walk to the bus station. Everything was within walkable distance including the fat thugs such as Dodge’s place (about a 22min) walk but it definitely didn’t feel that far due to there being so many little shops to check out on your way. "The customer service representative was by far the nicest we had met in Italy. He was very accommodating. Just the simple pleasure of having conditioner in the shower was amazing. "Our stay was amazing! This was a stop along our 4 week road trip through Italy, France, Monaco and Spain. The hotel was great, the staff was wonderful. "The hotel was conveniently located near the Saint Lucia train station. We took the train to and from our cruise ship to get to Venice. It was a wonderful quaint hotel beautifully decorated. "It’s been a few months since we returned from beautiful, unforgettable Italy! 🇮🇹 My heart is aching to go back. In the spirit of reminiscing, I wanted to be sure to leave a review for the enchanting A’la hotel we stayed at. I took my 4 children and their significant others on the trip of a lifetime, to Venice, Rome, Tuscany Umbria, and lastly Cortona. We loved every minute of our time in Venice, and I can attribute much of our happy vacationing to the staff at A’la Hotel Venezia! They really were remarkable people. In the few short days we were in Venice, we were made to feel like family, or honored guests. The hotel is rustic and was surely a jewel when it was new. Don’t expect all the conveniences of American hotels. It does lack a few of the conveniences Americans are accustomed to, such as a refrigerator in the room. The staff at A’la Hotels Venezia were warm and welcoming. Our experience in Venice ands with this. Hotel is one example of how beautiful Italy is and always has been! We can’t wait to visit a’la Hotels Venezia again! Just be sure to know which hotel you’re staying at or you will quickly anger the taxi captain! 👨‍✈️﫤 Izzy Y. Ann Arbor, MI"
