"A handy place to stay for your early morning flight. Unfortunately our flight was too early to enjoy the buffet breakfast that was included in our booking so was offered a takeaway breakfast. Sounds great in theory but it was woeful and extremely disappointing in reality. A stale sandwich (dumped) along with the undrinkable coffee, a tiny muffin and a fruit box which consisted of melon, melon and melon. Do better because the buffet looked great."

"My room was awesome. Spacious and comfortable. Great view. Breakfast had lots of choices as well. Location was perfect. Walking distance to transportation. 15- 20 mins to most places even by walk. Staff very courteous and helpful."

"The property itself is very interesting , playing a unique role as Singapore's first Post Office. It is a low rise gem sitting right on the river and the hop on bus route. The food in the Straits Club was excellent and Sahul and his team were most welcoming and helpful. We had a grat stay."
