"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. We stayed in three other "nice" hotels on our Portugal trip, and this one was so much better than the rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made you feel like a "Guest" not just a number. Clean and beautifully decorated with everything prepared to a very high level. Lovely bar with piano player every night. We can't wait to stay there again!"

"Beautiful peaceful location with excellent staff. Very small bedroom but numerous lounge areas which would make it very suitable for groups of family or friends. Paid for a mountain view but couldn't see them because trees obstructed the view. Guests should be aware that the property is about 15 kilometres before the town of Mantegias and is quite isolated. Signage to the reception at the property could be clearer but it is a prominent building in the small village. Breakfast was very good although the absence of tea / coffee amenities in the room meant you had to access them from a common area at cost (expensive).
