"Wonderful hotel. Large and in good location. First room had a couple of issues (non-working mini fridge, heat not on, and bathroom maintenance needed) however; we spoke with the reception and were able to be moved. Elevator gets very busy during rush times so if you’re in a hurry to get down you may have to wait quite a bit. "

"My wife and I stayed for four nights in December, mostly to see the Christmas market (which did not disappoint, it was dazzling), and this hotel is a great location nearby, just a couple blocks walk. It is an excellent location in general, all-around for sightseeing in the Old Quebec district, literally right next to the famous Frontenac Hotel, the river, and the Dufferin Terrace, as well as quick access to the "lower town" (Petit Champlain) shopping area. There are great restaurants everywhere, within a five or ten minute walk. All the staff people at the hotel were friendly and helpful, the room while a bit small was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good, not great; we ate there a couple times and went out for breakfast other days (try La Buche for breakfast - wow, the best). They do have a coffee machine available all hours which makes good cappuchino and espresso, or cafe au lait. If we'd brought swimming suits, we'd have used the spa tub downstairs; missed out on that. If you do go in December to see the Christmas market (and I do highly recommend it), be aware that it's only open Thursday through Sunday, not the other nights of the week!"

"The hotel was busy but the service was very thoughtful. There were staff to help with luggage when arriving and leaving the hotel. Our truck was too high to park in the hotel parking lot, but there was a small public parking lot nearby that charged 23/day and was very convenient. The hotel was clean and modern, with USB sockets on the wall for direct charging. The hotel also had children's activities and some small gifts for children, which was very considerate! The hotel is within walking distance of famous old town attractions, 20 minutes to the castle hotel and the river, and only 10 minutes to the Quebec Castle. Opposite the Parliament Building, it is very convenient!"
