Great location. Walking distance to all the main attractions. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only negative is that the hotel seems understaffed. We arrived at 4 pm in time for check in but had to wait for 1.5 hrs for our room to be ready. We were comped drinks and this was the only negative aspect of our experience.

We were on a impromptu vacation to Quebec City and we had a fantastic time. The Hilton hotel views from the room made the stay spectacular ! The staff was very courteous and attentive from the front-desk reception to the cleaning crew. My now fiancé and I stayed here, and walked to the Chateau Frontenac in 10 minutes. It also happened to be where he proposed to me. We celebrated after at the bar, which also had an amazing caesar salad. We did not get a chance to use the sauna or pool, since it was past 8pm, but they looked very well maintained. Perfect spot in the heart of QBC, only issue is the parking was initially very confusing since you have to park in a garage, and there are 2 right next to each-other. That was such a minor inconvenience though and the only negative thing I could think of l…but hey it’s a city so I understand. This hotel was the best location in QBC I’ve stayed at hands down. the last 2 years were different places and were more expensive and had longer walking distances.

We loved staying at the hotel, but our experience with the restaurant onsite, CABU, was really bad. We went for dinner and to even get our food was over an hour, they recognized the long wait, but the food was cold and dry (pasta and octopus app). We did get some of the food taken off the bill for the inconvenience . The lobby said there was a hot chocolate bar at CABU for the kids and when we came down to try it - they said it wasn’t happening because of low staff. The restaurant itself seemed to need a lot of help. The rest of our stay was amazing - we loved the free games in the ballroom for the kids and the pool.

Overall the hotel was great. It's in a great location near Old Quebec. From the hotel you can easily access some of the tourist favorites but since you are outside the old walls, you also can get to experience some of the local favorites easily. I really liked most all of the staff as they were very welcoming. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but I was very disappointed with the sound insulation in our Junior Suite. I could hear every conversation, hacking cough, door slam, and other sounds from our neighbors, including before 7 AM and after 11 PM. On one night after 10:00, there was a hotel staff member delivering an extra bed to the room next door and was repeatedly slamming the door as he left to retrieve whatever he needed. For one of the most expensive room classes in the hotel this was unacceptable. The front desk supervisor was apologetic but unaccommodating, assuring me they would check the volume across the rooms after we checked out.

Overall ok, but not worth the cost of stay. Also when hotel is fully booked it struggles to support with elevators, restaurant both long waits and even tv channels cuts intermittently. Not worth over $500 a night.

Very limited amenities...no water no slipper no cleaning unless inform concierge...bad service at front desk...definitely not live up to Hilton name
