"Owners were so nice, bed was great, linens and towels were wonderful. House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! "This was on a family trip after burying our mother. We were the ONLY ones staying, yet they wouldn't give us the cabin with wi fi. The old lock locked us out late at night and it took 30 minutes for them to help us. When I complained, they kicked us out and called the police who had us drive away in the middle of the night with an 11 yr old. "

"Absolutely the coziest and most homey motel stay ever! Our room was super clean and had lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We have a service dog and it was raining so we appreciated the dark colored pet blanket for the bed so our dog didn't leave paw prints on the white bedding. "I didn't realize it was a bed & breakfast when I reserved our room (my mistake), but it was fine. I'm handicapped and had to go up steps in the old home with my luggage (obviously, no elevator). While the room was small and a bit cramped for us, it was nice, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Again, this is not a knock on the property. It was very quaint. Just my mistake for not realizing exactly what I was booking."
