"The Woodstock Inn & Resort is the quintessential New England inn. Walk in the lobby and you are greeted by a large warm fire. The staff at all levels were gracious and helpful. The room was large, well decorated and extremely comfortable. Great location to walk downtown even with single digit temperatures. The shops were expensive but worth browsing & buying. "

"Outdoor hot tub and heated saltwater pool (in winter!) were for sure the high light. So lovely and room had robes to wear to get there. Room was fine and well kept. There was no maid service and the breakfast was terrible, but otherwise all was good. "

"Didn't like the shower ,needs to be up dated, need to put blinds behind the curtains to block out the outside light from shining thru at night. Plus the Tv kept acting up might need a new cable cord it was loose in the plug in. Other than that it was ok."

"Like walking into another area; historic hotel. Unfortunately the room and upstairs area were in pretty bad shape; bathroom had rusty water and bathtub needed updating. We were fine with it, but other travelers just need to adjust expectations on room conditions vs. website!"
