"Second time staying and it was great! The food is excellent, pools are spotless clean, and the room was dated but super clean. The staff was very friendly. The only issue we had (same as the first time), we had to ask for maintenance twice after waiting a long time to come and fix our safe. But all good and would definitely stay again and recommend! "

"La Mariposa is a hidden gem and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Staff at the front desk and restaurant were wonderful. Views were amazing. Communication was good when they hosted a wedding onsite and the restaurant hours were limited, so that other plans could be made. The only issues for me were the mattresses were a bit stiff ( ultra firm) and our room was a bit of a hike with many uphill stairs to climb when coming to or from the hotel proper. We got plenty of exercise but it would have been good if they checked to see if this was an issue."
