"The house was exactly as advertised. It had a few maintenance issues that the owner is taking care of. Initially, we had a couple of major problems but the manager & the owner came out and immediately called workers out and corrected the problems. The covered porch was wonderful. Something that you should be aware of is that the location of the property is not accurately reflected in the listing at the time of our stay. "The cabin was great. AC worked great and it was very clean (once we got checked). We loved the pool access for our chill days. The location was perfect for us. Nice and quiet but just a short drive to many popular spots. We felt very safe here. Our check in was not very good. The host had a mix up on our check in day and the cabin was not ready/cleaned when we were suppose to check in. Luckily I had an eSIM on my phone so I could call the host directly. "No daily room service. Have to request the WiFi code but overall we would definitely stay again. Loved the seculedness of each room. Maybe add a second set of stairs to the hot tub. Beautiful rooms and beautiful property. "

"very nice place "

"The property was a bit difficult to locate due to not having cell service in Costa Rica but once we got there everything was so perfect! We loved the open air feel and the fact we were still able to have A/C in the bedroom. Hearing the sounds of nature surrounding you was so peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. Make sure you spend some time with Ulises learning about his beautiful farm. Thanks for everything!! We hope to come back to this perfect place one day. Pura Vida!!"

"The location of this property was about half an hour drive from what was advertised. Floors were wet when we arrived and used tissues were in one of the trash cans. Outdoor camera faced inside through windows with no blinds. "

"My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights, and the property was excellent! The cabin was clean, with a beautiul view of this little aritificial pond that had ducks and fish in it. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."

"We had an amazing stay at Morada Colibri. The property is even nicer in reality than on the pictures. If you are lucky you will be able to see wildlife in the trees around the property - we were lucky to see a family of monkeys :) There is also an outdoor gym area and the jacuzzi is huge. Andy is a great host! I would definitely stay here again!"

"With a rental car, this is a good location with a cute little pool right across from the unit. The bed was comfy and the kitchen contained everything needed. The only downside is the stairs leading to the kitchen are narrow. "

"The location was close to LaFortuna in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The houses are really close to each other and there is no soundproofing so we could hear the very noisy house next door two of three nights. The pool had a nice view of Arenal. "

"Beautiful resort. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff everywhere were extremely friendly. We had a a 2nd floor deluxe room which faced the volcano but was partially obscured by a tree. No big deal. Still an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was very good but there wasn't much Costa Rican variety. Pool and the bar were great. My only issue was that they wouldnt exchange any US currency to Costa Rican. Also keep in mind that this resort is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna."

Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

"An excellent rain forest resort if you're looking for beautiful grounds with gardens, large thermal pool and Jacuzzi options, good variety of tasty restaurant options, full included breakfast buffet, pool, swim up bar by the Jacuzzi pools, jungle sauna, short perimeter hiking trail (too many roots for running), and friendly/helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable and adequate. A great getaway for couples, and good variety for families (including playground, pools, chill-out lounge with pool table, foosball etc). Would definitely return 👍"

"The property was amazing and if your focus is to spend time enjoying the assorted variety of hot spring pools in tropical environment then this place checks the boxes. It is a fairly small property and due to the majority of the property being filled with pools and related features don't expect to see much wildlife but overall it's a great place to stay. The rooms were great, the food in both restaurants I tried excellent, and the included breakfast buffet was vey good each morning. "
