"Lovely property with responsive hosts. The bungalow properties are uniquely whimsical and private. Perfect location outside of the hustle & bustle of Dominical, but a 20 minute drive away. Grocer & restaurants even closer. No A/C but decent fans available. It’s cooler in the evenings “up the hill” from Dominical. "

"Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!"

"Our stay at Vista Paraiso Lodge for New Year's was amazing. The view is super fantastic especially the sunet and the whole place is beautiful since sunrise, many birds singing. "Outstanding property with wonderful hiking trails near by. Cute quiet town. The road down to the cabin is steep and unpaved but we managed in a 2wd vehicle. Wifi/Service was out but there is so much to do it didnt bother us one bit. 10/10 would stay again."

"Our family really enjoyed this rental. The cabin was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. There was a lovely pool and the grounds were lush and beautiful with lots of birds. I would definitely stay here again."

"This property is an oasis. There was fruit growing everywhere. The differences of plants and trees is like nothing we saw while in Costa Rica. Very memorable and our host was very helpful throughout the whole time we were there. FYI when they say you need 4x4 there are not joking around. We had a rental that had 4x4 and the road still made my stomach drop. Worth it if you can get to it."

"I can’t say enough about this property. Incredible location with beach access within steps. Large pool for lounging in at night. Access to town within minutes. All the little touches provided as well, cooler and flashlights. 10 out of 10 property"

"Older home that needs some updating. They were working on the master bathroom when we got there and could not fix one of the sinks and one of the showers and never came back. There were broken chairs out back sitting by the pool and one thrown around the side of the deck. Two fans were broken …. Ran out of propane during a dinner and they did eventually get that taken care of. Just needs an all around spruce up and maintenance . "

"Not what they say regarding the ocean, you cannot see the ocean or hear the waves. It was clean and safe feeling. Condo hard to find, allot of construction. Not really big enough for six adults, felt crowded, perfect for adults with children, or 4 adults & 2 children. Short walk to surf beach & small cute town, good food & restaurants & markets."

Amazing Stay

"Steps from the beach, we fell asleep to the waves crashing and woke to them as well. The kids couldn’t get enough of the warm water and surf. The beach was beautiful as well with large rocks and cliffs due south, and Dominical beach proper was just north. The accommodations were as expected. 2 queen beds and very comfy. AC worked great. Only downside is exiting the driveway is pretty blind so you really need to be ready for passing traffic. But the house and stay were great. Landlord was super nice as well. We would use again!"

Great place but not a surfing beach

"Loved the house and the location was great. The pool outside was perfect and we would go play in the water at the beach. Note that the beach right out front of the house is not a good place to play since there are large rocks and swift currents in the area. You have to walk a couple hundred yards north to get to an area you can play safely. Waking to that beach on high tide can be difficult. "

"Not what they say regarding the ocean, you cannot see the ocean or hear the waves. It was clean and safe feeling. Condo hard to find, allot of construction. Not really big enough for six adults, felt crowded, perfect for adults with children, or 4 adults & 2 children. Short walk to surf beach & small cute town, good food & restaurants & markets."
