"The cottage was a cozy stay during a chilly couple of days of rock climbing at nearby Sand Rock. The cottage was clean and warm, and the hosts were very kind and responsive. The cottage does not have internet, and spotty cell service, but I consider this to be a plus for a weekend away with the family! I would highly recommend it for families looking for an affordable trip to Northeast Alabama for a few days."

"A family vacation of boating, fishing, swimming and watching the RNC convention. Interesting, for a large number of cottages on the lake we saw very few people. I imagine the reason was the hot weather and most people were probably at the lake July 4th weekend. Therefore, we had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed a quiet time and beautiful sunsets. We’ll return to Lake Weiss in the future. Thank you Loren"

"My husband and I rented the Lazy River Cottage to host Thanksgiving with our two kids, their spouses and our first grandson. We were there the whole week of Thanksgiving and the cottage was perfect. It’s basically a new house with three bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a loft with two single beds and a large living room. The kitchen was tight for preparing a large Thanksgiving meal, but we made it work. Even cooked a turkey sausage gumbo on Saturday while watching football! The beds weee...

"The location is gorgeous, the “cabin” easily accommodated our large party of 12 and was certainly well-stocked with everything a guest would need. We had a marvelous time! There are a few caveats, however. There is only one sleeping area on the main floor and the interior stairs proved a problem for the older generations in our group; they are steep and there is not a complete handrail going down to the bottom level. We were able to work around this but probably should be taken into...

"We loved our stay at The Dreamer property. It was the oerfect size space for my husband and I, and great location! The property was well decorated and had plenty of comforts/amenities. It was also very close to cute shops, great restaurants, and great hiking. We’ll definitely be returning!"
