"My “framily” and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the cabin in Mentone! I went to Camp at Camp DeSoto for many years when I was a child, so I’m fairly familiar with the area. I was pleased to find that most things were basically the same and what wasn’t changed were definitely improved. The cabin was perfect! It was exactly as advertised! I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderfully peaceful retreat! "

"Overall, we had a good stay at this property. The cleanliness of the property could have been better. The biggest issue we had was a stinch in the living room. Upon investigation, we found that the living room rug smelled like a wet dog. The smell was unbearable and the rug had to be removed from the room for the duration of our stay. "I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want the secret to get out about this area. It's amazing!! Location wise you are on a dead end road, so there is little traffic. There is a stream nearby where you hear spring peeper frogs singing. You are surrounded by these awesome boulders and large beautiful trees.
