"12 family members stayed here for a wedding near Hood River. Plenty of beds & bathrooms to accommodate our group. House s a little outdated, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the ping pong & pool table in the garage. Didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub or the beautiful back yard, which would make for an incredible game of Bocce. View is absolutely stunning!"

"We had another amazing stay at this wonderful home – our second time here. The location is close to downtown and a great view. The home is fully stocked with thoughtful details. Just a note for future guests: there are quite a few stairs, so it’s something to keep in mind. "Wow what an amazing view. We only spent two nights but would stay here again. It was also in a good location near a lot of things. As we were leaving we had a great breakfast at the Egg River Cafe. Even if you do like we did and get one pancake to share you they are a must try. The only thing I did not really care for was the fact I booked on VRBO and then the management company wanted me to sign up for their app which I did not do."

"It's lovely place with enough space for all of us including a small dachshund. The hardwood floors have the "lived in" look which is nice and cozy. The unique seating in the kitchen, bottles, surfboards gave a wonderful "hang loose" feel. The not so wonderful poop in the yard upon arrival was a shock but not a big thing, especially since we are asked and should clean up after our dog, The biggest issue for us was the driveway. "This home is even prettier in person! It also has all the bells and whistles! Warm floors, very clean, so much gathering space, fully stocked, beautiful colors. It was an amazing place for our four families with a variety of kid ages! (The train goes by several times each day, but it really is charming!!!) Take the fam to the cute little town of Stevenson! It’s adorable! "

One improvement would be to add a second fan unit downstairs to the split heat pump system. The lower bedroom can get hot in summer. Also need more comfortable deck chairs. We brought our own."

"Everything lined up with the listing: great view, beautiful home, fun game room. Got surprised (coming from a city) at how dark the night sky was. Really enjoyed the stars. The Gorge is a beautiful place. Whether you are visting for the first time or are practically a local, this house is close to everything you will want to do. Have rented places along both the WA and OR sides of the river in the past, and this is my new favorite property."
