"We loved our stay in Underwood! The house was super clean, kid friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked! The kids enjoyed playing games from the game closet and sledding in the yard. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this home for a family getaway! We visit this area often and will definitely be staying here again!"

"This property was perfect for our party. We walked downtown for meals and the race. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of four but will accommodate more. The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. "

"The Gorge Retreat is beautiful and modern! It seriously has everything you want, to be able to have a relaxing stay. Everything is so clean, even all the linens smell amazing! The views from the large, open concept living room and kitchen are stunning. We had an amazing time playing cards around the large dining table while enjoying a beautiful view of the Gorge. The wrap around deck is another great way to enjoy the view. The Elk Ridge golf course is nearby and there are a few great vineyards...

"House is very spacious with comfortable beds. We had one issue with the setting on the water heater upon arrival, but the host was quick with communication to resolve the issue. Very quick walk to the restaurants along the main street of White Salmon. Will definitely book again for my next visit to the gorge."

"Wow what an amazing view. We only spent two nights but would stay here again. It was also in a good location near a lot of things. As we were leaving we had a great breakfast at the Egg River Cafe. Even if you do like we did and get one pancake to share you they are a must try. The only thing I did not really care for was the fact I booked on VRBO and then the management company wanted me to sign up for their app which I did not do."
