"My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everyone from Patrick, his wife, the housekeeper made us feel welcome. The drivers were like family by the end of the day, Miguel and Luis are the best! Patrick was a great help suggesting and helping plan our tours. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy yourself."

"This was our first trip to Costa Rica and so happy with the home! The views were amazing, the hot tub perfect for those cool mornings and after the long hikes and did I mention the views? The house was great for three couples! The BBQ for perfect for the wonderful food we found the town of Nuevo Arenal had everything we needed within five minutes of the house! Thank you for a great stay!"

"Villa el Tucan is a gem with impeccable service! Bijagua is a cute little village close to Rio Celeste with this new adorable lodge. The owners thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The cabins are cozy, clean, airy, and they even have screens on their windows and sliding glass door. Great lil porch to relax and enjoy the view. They even added a short walking trail to a refreshing river! They have thought of everything! "

"Beautiful property. We were there during a heat wave. The only AC is the attic room with 1 twin and 2 futon beds. It is a duplex, but it is huge. The garage is communal, but you have your own washer and dryer."

"The house is an oasis in the rainforest! It has all of the amenities that you need, and you can't beat the property views, birds and rainforest trail! Allow time to just sit and enjoy the land. It is located about an hour's drive from La Fortuna and 45 min from the base of Arenal. The listing notes the master suite has a separate entrance, but it didn't register with me that there would be no interior access between floors.
