"We have stayed here a few times. The room options are great and the location in right in the middle of the action. Great pool that is heated and beach area. Get to the beach early to save a seat. "

"We had a great vacation at the Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar. The hotel grounds is lovely with lots of wildlife including beautiful peacocks. The beach was picturesque and very clean as well as safe although the waves were a bit rough. But it was fun. There were many different options of places to eat and the most of the food was great. "

"Pros: The property is nice, the beach is absolutely beautiful and long. If you like taking long walks on the beach, you found your place. The restaurant and Bar service were excellent, props to CHRISTIAN AND JOSÉ AT the bar CHRISTIAN always made sure our mini fridge was full. Cons: The rooms on the “lagoon” side are very outdated and near the road,, so very very noisy when the traffic is high. Difficult to get someone to come clean the room/ get clean towels/ get toilet paper …We had to go...

"Loved the place! All the hope is real. The service is amazing and the food is superb. We loved spending time on the beach. We upgraded the room To build in 70, which was worth it. Many thanks to Cynthia, who taught great classes to all the butlers, angel, Cesar,, The woman whose name I can’t remember. The lady at the star Café who goes by monkey. Daniela at the juice bar - so sweet! Was one of the best trips as far as the resort goes! Highly recommend"

"Amazing staff"

"It has the potential to be amazing but little things got in the way. Transportation from airport was terrible and took many hours. We were quite tired when we arrived only to be placed in a suite that literally was missing the tvs from the wall. They quickly got new tvs hung up, my daughter slipped off her shoes and stepped on the rug to find it was saturated in water (completely flooded). Did no one inspect the room? An hour later we were in a new room and at this point we missed all dining...

"This Resort is beautiful, it was so peaceful, I loved the ocean view. The staff were super helpful and my room was spotless every day thanks to Gabriela. Carlos was very nice as well. I would definitely stay here again."

"This property is private and quiet in a nice community. The yard with the canopy of trees is so beautiful. Comfy beds, good A/C, good linens. Huge tv’s. Kitchen pretty much has what you need. Having an oven is a plus. The pool is cool. Which was perfect for the 32 C temps. It is a property worth staying at for sure. Perfect for families. The owner is a lovely man who answered all our questions and was over to help us with anything we needed. "

"It was a wonderful experience. As Expedia VIP members we got a room upgrade and a personal concierge which was a huge help especially with dinner reservations. Ours was Viktor and l want to recognize him for his professional, prompt response every time we needed something. The New Year’s Party is one of the best l ever seen, we had so much fun!👏👏 The pools are clean and the beach is maintained daily to make sure there is not a lot of seaweed around. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to help out. Thank you for a great time!"
