"My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire. "First the owners and care taker Victoria are wonderful people. The home was much more “rustic” than we expected. AC can only be run at night and works intermittently. The shower and toilets are a combination sort of deal. So you shower on a wooden crate they provide while the shower curtain separates you from the toilet. "This lovely home could not be better situated for a northern Tuscan vacation. It is close to Pisa, Lucca, Pietrasanta, the beautiful Ligurian Sea, as well as the Cinque Terre and the jaw dropping marble quarry of Carrara . The town of Camaiore is a bustling surprise, full of terrific restaurants and cute shops. "We stayed at the house this summer for 10 days and ended up wishing we had booked at least two weeks. The house is lovely and features a lot of privacy. The pool is great and the amenities of the house as advertised. Francesca was great with her advice and about things to do and 0laces to eat and always available for questions. "We spent 4 great days at Fabrizio’s place. As a family of 5 there was so much space indoors and outdoors to relax in, and the pool was super for cooling down and having fun with the children.
